Ms Podder, You are the greatest and best of all writers!

I GRANT YOU THAT TITLE AND QUALIFICATION!!!  I remember  these words of yours from better blog themes- #___________________
"Going by its track record, it definitely is a soft state, according to my view. Remember, how the Rubaina case led to the release of several dreaded militants which unleashed a whole new era of terrorism. For those who do not remember, Rubaina, the daughter of an important minister of J&K, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, was released by militants, in exchange of a number of top militants. Then came the Kandahar hijack case, when we again succumbed to the demands of militants.

These are not solitary examples. Till date many militants have been caught and released, either due to the hue and cry raised by the human rights organisations or due to the weak will power of the politicians and pseudo secular forces who cry themselves hoarse on the issue and harp on the religious sentiments of minorities.

It is not just the temples that they have attacked, they have taken hundreds of lives in mosques, too. This is what the minority community should understand. A terrorist has no love lost for his own brethren. They must co-operate with the investigating authorities instead of shielding the accused due to religious sentiments.
A militant is a global enemy. ONce this fact is understood, it becomes easier to deal with the issue.
Imagine looking back fearfully each time you enter a temple, looking suspiciously at your fellow passengers while travelling by train! It is this reaction that a terrorist gloats on. To strike fear is the uppermost target in his mind. When we succumb to that fear and terror, his goal is achieved. As long as we show compassion for the accused, we will not achieve the goal of ridding our country of terrorism.
A significant pointer to this fact is the Afzal case where a person condemned by no lesser court than the Supreme Court for his involvement in the Parliament attack, has yet to be hanged."

Yet another example of the level these politicians can stoop down to hold on to power.

Speculations are on whether congress has been resorting to villainous tricks from the back door. According to some reports, the congress has promised support to Deve Gowda in forming government if he withdraws support to BJP.

The best thing for the governor to do would be to impose Presidential rule in the state. Such opportunist should be barred from contesting elections for at least five years to deter them from such nefarious practices.

How right you are Kuldip! If this trend continues, it won't be long before we are fragmented into several nations.....

Thanks Charlie Brown! Yes, we can do little beyond putting our thoughts on the website but that's a beginning, I'm sure. Let us apply our collective wisdom to find solutions....

Hi Vaidyanathan,
NO one has been eulogised in the blog. It is sarcasm and you've to unravel the outer layer to reach the real meaning. As for you being a miniscule speck, I don't think anyone is a speck; each of us are important in our own way.
Regards,
Tanushree

Hi
The balkanisation process begins with such inuendos. Assam fo assamese,Maharashtra for Marathi manoos,No entry in Delhi (asking outsiders to carry I cards). I had predicted by 2050 India would be divided in several countries.I  need to advance the date.

I enjoyed reading the article and the contra views/comments that it elicited.

Do you know what is the problem in this country and why we continue to remain in the state that we are in? We have a lot of people who would like to sit in judgement, and when it is time to act they prefer to sleep in the comforts of their cozy homes; the days job having been done on the key-board of their computers!

Hi, A non-Marathi Punching Bag:

I fully deserve this
images.jupiterimages.com/common/detail/94/86/22188694.jpgBecause from the leader  Open Letter to Raj, I surmised that you wanted to either pay bouquets or brickbats to me.

Only when I read that article I realised that you were eulogising a non-entity. Oh my God! how big is this world and me a miniscule speck???

Regards.
Rajaputhran.

Hi mohtamil,
every state has their Raj. Like the British sent freedom fighters to Cellular Jail, it is time we packed off these unscruplous fellows out to some island forever..

Dear Thomas,
I fully agree with you. It is because of the backwardness and lawlessness of certain states that migrants seek better opportunity elsewhere. BIMARU states are just that BIMAR (Sick).
Thanks for being here.
