Tanushri,
This is a wonderful post. Sarcastic to the hilt and why not? The season is silly and it is time for sarcasm. And it is sarcasm beautifully done. cooked to a perfect golden crisp!

Dear Atims,

LIked your comment city is over streached so I have a suggestion for real Mumbaikars like you.
Will real Mumbaikars please protest against Certral Railway , Western Railways , Indian Navy , Indian Oil Corporation and various PSUs to move out thier HQ from Bombay to else where so that load on city can be reduced ?

Will you please protest against Tatas to Move out Tata Sons and Tata companies HQs from Bombay house to say Gorakhpur ? Same for both Ambani brothers and various splinter groups of Birla family ?

During reign of Akbar and Jahangir Agra was a great cosmopolitian city but with seat of political power being moved out the pressure on city reduced. Calcutta was overloaded with migrant industrial workers from Hindi belt but Commies solved the problem and people no longer aspire to migrate to this city. Why not same solution for Bombay instead of Hoogalism against poor workers or even more civilized protest in form of comments such as city being streached etc. ?

You see some of these steps will make sure that "rest of India" as you say grows and load on this great city will be reduced.

I am sure you personally will not support any of these moves but will create noises on City being over streached and thus Raj and Croonies will contibue to get support.

Regards

A good one Tanushree..... Is there any way of making him read all that  "Aam Janta"  feels?  Mumbai  was one place where all Indians felt comfortable.... It is saddening that it too has joined the bandwagon of " out with usurpers!" kind of mentality.

Hi jaijui,
I have nothing against the Thackeray parivar but I do feel that they have to consider themselves Indians first....
Thanks for being here.
Cheers!

hye tanushree,
good satire    ..   enjoyed reading the darts you threw at Raj and associates
one thing i have to say is  that the thackeray family has fought for the upliftment of the maharastrians ..for the past 30 odd years ....the means they have used may not be savoury at times .
cheers,
jaijui

Tanushri,

Very well written....your message came through strong and clear. I hope the residents of Mumbai will wake up one day and heed to call to keep the likes of Thackeray out of power.

Dear Krishnan Bala,
Thanks for dropping by. You're absolutely right when you point out that the migrants are there to fulfil a need.. Mumbai needs them as much as they need the city...time Thackeray & sons (nephews, too) realised that...
I'll definitely read your blog on the subject...
Regards,
Tanushree
