Hi Tanushree,

One of the best stories I read on sulekha. You have excellently captured village life. Some of the words really helped in surfacing the appropriate image in the mind. Great stuff. Will keep reading.

Hi Sue,
Nice to see you here. Actually, this is an imaginery encounter since I've never worked in a newspaper as a journalist....but while working for a magazine I came across quite a few colourful characters and Murari is like one of them....
Thanks for your comments.

tanushri,
Excellent post enjoyed reading about your interaction with Murari and later on.

A coincidence that Murari is an important character in the novel I am trying to write.

Looking forward to your comments on the story:

For the sake of honor

Warm regards,

Tanushree,

Enjoyed reading about your chance encounter with this simple villageer called Murari and how this meeting changed  the path of career for both of you.  Of course the bottom line is that both of you are talented and effectively used the opportunity that came your way.

Good one!

Sue

Hi Blizzard,

Life is much easier when we can set realistic goals for ourselves....

Thanks for being here.

Tanushri,
Liked this one a lot...
Murari's ambition was fulfilled..and he was happy ...but he still had an ambition ...that was good in itself...I guess it is only human to work on ourselves, improve and aim a bit higher than where we are...

For some contentment comes from whatever they are doing ..while for some there is always a notch higher they want to go..

Good one!
